Confirming a session

Once a session with your tutor, mentor or consultant has taken place we want to make sure it took place as expected, confirm how long the session was and get your feedback on how you thought it went. All of this information is vital to ensuring you have the most of every session with your Crimson team.

Confirming a session has taken place:

When you log into the Crimson app after a session has occurred you will be presented with the popup below:

This popup allows you to:

  1. Confirm that the session took place and confirm the session occurred for the scheduled length of time. If this is the case, then you can proceed by selecting 'Confirm session'.
  2. If your session finished early or ran over the initial scheduled length then you can edit the length of the session. This ensure's the time recorded against your total hours used is kept accurate. If this is the case, then you can click on ‘This time is not correct.
  3. Or in the case that the session did not go ahead, please select 'This session didn't happen'.

Edit the length of a session:

When selecting 'This time is not correct' to edit the length of a session another popup will appear. This will give you the option to update the 'Start' and 'End' time of the session and an option to provide a comment as to why the session was not the scheduled length.

Providing feedback on the session:

After you have confirmed a session was occurred and accurately recorded the length of the session, the next step is to provide feedback on the session. This is a subjective measure based on how you felt the session went.

The session feedback will not be shared with your tutor, mentor or consultant so we encourage you to be as honest as possible.

There are five rating options:

  1. Terrible!
  2. Below Expectations
  3. Okay!
  4. Good
  5. Great, very productive!

With each rating we would also welcome any additional feedback you wish to provide to ensure you are getting the most out of each session.

Session did not happen:

In the case that a session that was booked but did not take place please select the option: 'This session didn't happen'.

This is where we ask you to provide a reason why the session did not take place. Again, your response is not shared with your tutor, mentor or consultant. We ask that you answer this honestly and if appropriate add additional comments as to why it did not occur.

Automatically Confirmed Session:

We also confirm session on a students behalf. This occurs 48 hours after a session has taken place. Check out this page for more detail: Automatically confirmed sessions
